TÜRKİYE'DE KADININ İŞGÜCÜ PAZARINA KATILIM VE DOĞURGANLIK KARARLARI

Öz Bu araştırmada, Türkiye’de kentsel alanda evli kadının işgücü pazarına katılım kararı üzerinde çocuk sayısının (yedi yaşından küçük çocukların) içselliğini kontrol etmek için iki aşamalı Probit modeli uygulandı. Birinci aşamada, doğurganlık eşitliği Count modellerinden Poisson modeliyle, ikinci aşamada ise evli kadının işgücü pazarına katılım olasılığı Probit modeliyle belirlendi. Doğurganlık ve kadının işgücü pazarına katılımı arasındaki içsellik sorununun çözümü için araç değişken metodundan yararlanıldı. Araç değişken olarak ilk çocuğun cinsiyeti kullanıldı. Bu modellerin tahmininde kullanılan veriler, DİE’nin 2003 yılı I. Döneminde Hanehalkı İşgücü Anketi ham verilerinden sağlandı.
