TÜRKİYE’DE BÖLGESEL ENFLASYON YAKINSAMASININ ANALİZİ

Bu çalışma, Türkiye'de farklı eoğrafl bölgeler arasında enflasyon yakınsaması olgusunun analiz edilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Ekonomi yazınında enflasyon yakınsaması, para politikalarının oluşturulması ve bunların başarıya ulaştırılması açısından önemli bir karar kriteri olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Çünkü enflasyonun bir bölgeden ötekine yayılması ve bunun zaman içinde süreklilik göstermesi; üeret oranlarım, bunun bir fonksiyonu olan alım gücünü düşürmekte ve hayat standardını bozmaktadır. Panel birim kök testleri kullanılarak kesltsel bağlılık araştırılmış ve bölgesel enflasyon oranlarının Türkiye ortalaması etraflnda dağıldığı belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, farklı coğrafi bölgeler itibariyle ciddi bir enflasyon yakınsaması olgusunun varlığını göstermektedir. Dolayısıyla, parasal otoritelerin politik karar alma sürecinde enflasyon yakınsaması ve yayılmasından kaynaklanabilecek kırılganlıklara karşı duyarlı ve dikkatli olmaları gerekmektedir.
