İMKB VE BAZI MAKRO EKONOMİK DEĞİŞKENLER ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİLERİN VAR ANALİZİ İLE İNCELENMESİ

Bu çalışma, 1989:01-2003:12 dönemi aylık verilerini kullanarak, İMKB ve bazı makroekonomik değişkenler arasındaki nedensellik ilişkilerini ve dinamik etkileşimleri belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. VAR analizinde, Mİ ve M3 para arzları ayrı ayrı denklemlerde ele alınarak iki VAR sistemi kullanılmıştır. VAR analizinden elde edilen başlıca sonuçlar, reel dolar kuru ve faizden İMKB’ye doğru bir nedensellik ilişkisi olduğunu, ayrıca İMKB’nin reel gayri safı milli hasılanın öncü bir göstergesi olduğunu göstermektedir. Varyans ayrıştırması sonuçları, İMKB’de meydana gelen bir değişmenin ilk dönemde faizde meydana gelen j değişmeler tarafından açıklandığını göstermiş ve dönem ilerledikçe bu değişimi açıklamada reel döviz kuru ve reel gayri safı milli hasılanın payının arttığı gözlenmiştir.
