Günümüzün önemli sorunlarından biri görsel çevre kirliliğidir. Çevre kirliliği aynı zamanda onun zıttı olan estetik çevre algısını gündeme getirmektedir. Birçok alanda estetik çevre farklı tasavvur edilebilmektedir. Estetik çevreyi etkileyen birçok kavram vardır. Bazı kavramlar birincil derecede etkili olmakla birlikte başka sayısız nedenden bahsedilebilir. Herkes için gerekli olan çevre estetiği sanatçılar için yeterli olmayabilir. Sanatçılar ya da sanata daha duyarlı insanlar çevrede daha fazla sanat görmek ister. Estetik çevre bilincinin gelişmesi için en etkili yollardan biri görsel sanatlar eğitimidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı aşağıdaki sorulara cevap aramak, sonuçları tartışmak ve öneriler sunmaktır. Günümüzde estetik çevreden ne kastedilmektedir? Estetik çevrenin oluşumunda teknolojinin etkisi nedir? Çevre sanatı estetik çevreye nasıl dikkat çekebilir? Estetik çevre bilincinin kazandırılmasında eğitim ve sanat eğitimi nasıl etkili olabilir?

One of the important issues of our time is environment pollution. This also brings up the sense of esthetic environment which is the opposite of pollution. In many fields, esthetic environment can be imagined differently. There are many terms that affect the esthetic environment. Some terms can be primarily effective but mant other reasons can be mentioned. The esthetics of environment, which is necessary for everyone, cannot be sufficient for artists. Artists or people who are more sensitive to art want to see more art around. One of the most effective ways to develop esthetic environment consciousness is visual arts training. The aim of this study is to look for answers to the following questions, to argue the results and to present suggestions. What does the esthetic environment mean? What is the effect of technology in the formation of esthetic environment? How can environment art attract the attention to esthetic environment? How can education and art training be effective in bringing in the consciousness of esthetic environment?
