Türkiye İmalat Sanayiinde Ölçek Genişlemesi Ve Verimlilik İlişkileri: Verdoorn Hipotezi Üzerinden Ampirik Bir Bakış

Bu çalışmada Verdoorn yasasının 1963-2013 dönemi Türkiye imalat sanayiindeki geçerliği araştırılmıştır.Verdoorn, imalat sanayiinde, uzun dönemde katma değer artış hızıyla ortalama işgücü verimliliği artış hızıarasında doğrusal ve 0,45 ölçüsünde sabit bir bağlantının olduğunu öne sürmektedir. Türkiye imalat sanayiiüzerinde ARDL sınır testi ile yaptığımız analizler, bu öngörünün çoğu imalat sanayi sektörleri için geçerliolduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Diğer yandan sektörlerin uzun dönemli verimlilik büyümesini kaynaklarınaayrıştırdığımızda, toplam faktör verimliliği ve yatırım artışlarının uzun dönemli verimlilik artışının anaunsurları olduğu, ölçek etkisinin ise ulaşım araçları sektörü dışında zayıf bir unsur olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır.
