ORTAÖĞRETİM KURUMLARININ ETKİLİ OKUL ÖZELLİKLERİNE SAHİP OLMA DÜZEYLERİ

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, ortaöğretim düzeyindeki okulların, etkili okul özelliklerine sahip olma düzeylerini belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama modelinde desenlenmiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen “etkili okul anketi” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 782 öğrenci ve 69 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada etkili okulun beş boyutu ele alınmıştır. Bunlar; okul yöneticisi, öğretmen, öğrenci, okul kültürü ve aile katılımıdır

LEVELS OF EFECTIVENESS CHARACTERISTICS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS

The purpose of the study was to examine the characteristics of effective schools as perceived by teachers and students in Turkish secondary schools as measured by the “Effective School Questionnaire” developed by author. Survey method was used in the study. The participant group is composed of 782 students and 69 teachers. The data and comments were organized according to the aims of the study. The effective schools have five dimensions: Principal, teacher, student, school culture and parent involvement. Descriptive analyses were performed to describe the degree of effective school characteristics
