İLKÖĞRETİM ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN HİZMETİÇİ EĞİTİME İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin hizmetiçi eğitime ilişkin görüşlerini ve hizmetiçi eğitimden geçirilmelerini gerekli kılan etmenleri belirlemektir. Tarama modeli kullanılarak desenlenen araştırma, Eskişehir il merkezindeki ilköğretim okullarında görevli 530 öğretmen üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anket yoluyla toplanan verilerin çözümlenmesinde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapmaların yanı sıra ikili karşılaştırmalarda bağımsız t testi, çoklu karşılaştırmalarda ise tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler sonucunda, öğretmenlerin hizmetiçi eğitimi, gerek kurumsal gerekse bireysel bakımdan kendilerine katkı getiren bir etkinlik olarak gördükleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretmenlerin hizmetiçi eğitimle ilgili görüşlerinin, cinsiyetlerine, kıdemlerine, branşlarına, yönetim görevine sahip olma durumu ile daha önce hizmetiçi eğitim alma durumuna göre değişmediği anlaşılmıştır. Öte yandan, öğretmenlerin hizmetiçi eğitimden geçirilmelerini gerekli gördükleri etmenlerin başında, öğretmenlerin üst görevlere hazırlanma istekleri ile hizmet öncesi eğitimden doğan eksikliklerin olduğu görülmüştür
