TURİZM DESTİNASYONLARINDA GECE KULÜPLERİNİ ZİYARET EDEN YERLİ GENÇ TURİSTLERİN TÜKETİM ALIŞKANLIKLARI ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Yapılan bu araştırmanın amacını turizm destinasyonlarında gece kulüplerini ziyaret eden yerli genç turistlerin, gece kulüplerini tercih nedenleriyle gece kulüplerindeki tüketim alışkanlıklarının ortaya konulması oluşturmaktadır. Bu amacın gerçekleştirilebilmesi için oluşturulan anket formu, 2013 yılının Mart ve Ağustos aylarında turizm faaliyetlerine katılmış ve seyahatleri esnasında en az bir defa gece kulüplerini ziyaret etmiş 276 yerli genç turist üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda tatilleri esnasında erkekler, kadınlara göre daha yüksek düzeyde gece kulüplerini ziyaret ettiği sonucu tespit edilirken; genç turistlerin en yüksek düzeyde üç saat civarında gece kulüplerinde kaldığı sonucu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, yerli genç turistlerin tatilleri esnasında gece kulüplerini ziyaret etmesinde alkol almak ve stres atmanın önemli iki neden olduğu, bu araştırma kapsamında ortaya konulan diğer bir bulgu olmuştur.

THE CONSUMPTION BEHAVIOR OF TOURISTS WHO VISIT AT NIGHT CLUBS INTOURISM DESTINATIONS: AN INVESTIGATION ON LOCAL YOUNG TOURISTS

The aim of this study is to identify of local young tourists’ purpose of visit at night clubswhen they go on holiday and to investigate their consumption behavior when they use nightclub services. To perform on this aim, the developed questionnaire form is filled out by 276Turkish tourists who attended local tourism activities between the months of March andAugust 2013 and attended night club activities at least once when they were on holiday.According to the findings of the study, male tourists visited night clubs more frequentlythan females when they were on holiday while a high proportion of the young touristsstayed at night clubs for almost three hours.
