Nanoteknoloji İnovasyon Sistemi: Türkiye Tekstil Sektörü Örneği

Öz Bilgi ve teknoloji rekabet ve üretim süreçlerinde her geçen gün daha fazla ağırlık kazanmaktadır. Son yıllarda yeni teknolojilerde yaşanan muazzam gelişmeler ile birlikte rekabet kavramı, daha karmaşık bir yapıya dönüşerek piyasa içi dinamiklerin yanında piyasa dışı dinamikleri de kapsar hale gelmiştir. Yeni teknolojilerin sunmuş olduğu yeniliklerden geri kalmak istemeyen ülkeler son yıllarda bu alanlara desteğini arttırmıştır. Günümüzün yeni teknolojilerinden biri olan nanoteknoloji de yeni, farklı ve üstün özellikli ürünler üretilmesine olanak sağladığı için her geçen gün daha fazla ilgiyi üzerine çekmektedir. Bu çalışmada son yıllarda itibar ve rekabet gücü kaybeden, ülkemizin geleneksel endüstrilerinden biri olan tekstil endüstrisinde nanoteknolojinin gelişim süreci kurumlar üzerinden incelenmiştir. Nanoteknoloji faaliyetleri yürüten akademisyen ve firma Ar-Ge personelleriyle mülakatlar yapılarak Türkiye tekstil endüstrisinde nanoteknolojinin mevcut durumunun keşfi ve geliştirilmesi adına önerilerin geliştirilmesi bu çalışmanın ana amacını oluşturmaktadır. Sonuç olarak; akademi ve endüstrinin nanoteknoloji bilgi stoğunun henüz gelişmediği ve bu aktörler arasındaki bilgi akışının da etkin olarak sağlanamadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Çok disiplinli eğitim sisteminin sağlanamaması, proje ve araştırma kültürü eksikliği, akademi ve endüstri arasındaki ilişkilerin zayıf olması, yabancı kurumlar ile ilişkilerin zayıf olması, fikri mülkiyet korumasının yeterli olmaması ve farkındalığın henüz sağlanamamış olması, Türkiye tekstil endüstrisinde, nanoteknolojinin gelişmesi önündeki ana engeller olarak görülmektedir.
