Sağlık Hizmetlerinde SWOT Analizi’nin Kullanımı Üzerine Yürütülen Çalışmaların İncelenmesi

Küresel anlamda artan rekabet ve hayatta kalabilme endişesi işletmelerin baş etmek zorunda kaldıkları temel zorluklar olmuştur. Bu zorlukların aşılması adına yöneticiler birtakım stratejik araçlar kullanmak durumunda kalmışlardır. Bunlardan biri de işletmelere hem iç çevrelerini hem de dış çevrelerini aynı anda inceleme ve analiz etme fırsatı sunan SWOT analizidir. SWOT analizi, son yıllarda yeni zorluklarla karşılaşan sağlık hizmetleri sektöründe de yaygın bir şekilde kullanılmaya başlamıştır. Sağlık hizmetlerinde SWOT analizi konusunda yayımlanan bilimsel makalelerin detaylı olarak araştırılmasını ve zamanla nasıl bir değişim sergilediğinin karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmesini amaç edinen bu çalışmada veriler Web of Science akademik veri tabanından elde edilmiştir. Ulaşılan veriler ışığında gerçekleştirilen analiz sonucunda, sağlık hizmetlerinde SWOT analizi konusunda yapılan çalışmaların 2011-2015 yılları arasında daha fazla yayımlandığı ve daha çok nitel araştırma türünde olduğu görülmüştür. Sağlık hizmetleri yöneticilerine çeşitli alanlarda rehberlik edecek önemli bilgilerin yer aldığı bu çalışma sayesinde SWOT analizinin sağlık hizmetlerinde daha fazla kullanımının önünün açılacağı düşünülmektedir.

Investigation of Studies on Using of SWOT Analysis in Health Care

Globally increasing competition and concern of survival have been the main challenges companies have to cope with. To overcome these challenges, managers had to use some strategic tools. One of these is the SWOT analysis, which allows enterprises to analyze and examination both their internal environment and their external environment at the same time. SWOT analysis has been widely used in the health care services sector, which has recently faced new challenges. In this study that aims to research in detail the scientific articles published in the SWOT analysis on health care services and to examine how the changes have changed over time relatively, the data have been obtained from the Web of Science academic database. As a result of the analysis carried out in the light of the data obtained, it has been seen that the studies on SWOT analysis in health care services have been published mostly between the years 2011-2015 and they are in the qualitative research type. Though the agecy of this study, which includes important informations to guide health care managers in various fields, it has been thought that further use of SWOT analysis in health care services.will be lead.
