Çalışma bir günlükten itibaren rasyonlarına %1 oranında kırmızı acı biber ilave edilen yumurtacı karakterde lsobrown ırkı civcivlerle yapıldı. Birinci ve ikinci deneme gruplarında hepatositlerde vakuoller ve sinusoidlerde genişleme gözlendi. Birinci deneme grubunda hepatositlerde şişme, safra kanalları çevresinde, karaciğer parenşimi içinde lenfosit inflitrasyonları saptandı. Üç, dört ve beşinci kesim deneme gruplarının kontrol grupları ile benzer özellikler gösterdiği belirlendi. Safra kesesi mukozasının villus benzeri uzantılarının deneme gruplarında kontrol gruplarına göre çok fazla geliştiği tespit edildi.  

This study was done on the commercial layers (lsobrown) by adding red hot pepper with 1 % rate into their diet from one day old. Vacuolation in hepatocytes and widening in sinusoids at the end of the first and the second month in the experimental groups. At the end of the first month distension of hepatocytes, infiltration of lymphocyle in parenchyma of liver and around ducts were determined in the experimental group. At the end of the third, fourth and fifth months it was found out that there were similar properties in relation to the histological features of liver between the control and experimental groups. it was also determined that the villus like extension of the mucosa of the experimental groups developed much more than that of the control groups.
