Öğütülmüş ayçiçek tohumları daha fazla yağ elde etmek amacı ile sellülaz, asit ve baz karakterli proteinaz ve pektinaz enzimleri ile muamele edilmiştir. İncelenen preparatlar arasında sellülaz (selobranin) enzimi uygulanan tohumlar en yüksek yağ verimini göstermişlerdir. 

Grounded sunflower oil seeds were treated with cellulase, acidic and basic proteinases as well as pectinases in order to increase the oil yield. The best results among the treatments were observed in cellulase (cellobranine) treated seeds.
