POLİKLİNİK BEKLEME ALANLARINDA FONKSİYONEL VE ALGI-DAVRANIŞSAL KALİTE: ANKARA, İBNİ SİNA HASTANESİ POLİKLİNİĞİ

Poliklinik Bekleme hollerinin kullanım sürecinde değerlendirilmesine (KSD) yönelik olarak yapılan bu çalışmada amaç, teşhis ve tedavi amaçlı gelen hastaların fonksiyonel ve algı-davranışsal performanslarını ölçmektir. Çalışma; poliklinik mekanlarında planlama ve fonksiyonel kalitenin hasta üzerindeki algısal ve psikolojik etkilerini incelemeye yöneliktir. Buna göre savunulan, (1) mekanda fonksiyonel olarak sıkıntı yaşanmadığında, düşük mekan kalitesinin kabul edilebilir olduğu; (2) buna karşın, mekanın fiziksel kalitesinin artması durumunda, fonksiyonel performanstaki aksaklık ve yetersizliklerin kullanıcılar tarafından çok da eleştirilmeyerek yorumlandığıdır. Bu amaçla, 45-60 yaş aralığında toplam 80 (40 bay 40 bayan) kullanıcı ile yapılan ankette kullanıcıların yön bulma, mekansal duyum ve algılarını tespit etmeye yönelik bir takım değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada; genel olarak fonksiyonel performansa ilişkin ciddi problemler görülmemekle birlikte, gün ışığı ve doğal havalandırma olanağı bulunmayan bazı klinik ve destek birimleri (röntgen, kan tahlil, idrar tahlil) bekleme hollerinde uzun süre sırada beklemek zorunluluğunda kalan hastaların, hastaneye ilişkin genel imajının negatif yönde olduğu görülmüştür.
