ANKARA’DAKİ ÜNİVERSİTELERDE OKUL İÇİ SPOR VE SOSYAL AKTİVİTE PROGRAMLARININ KENDİ MENSUPLARI TARAFINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Bu çalışma, üniversitelerde uygulanmakta olan, okul içi sosyal ve spor aktivite programlarının mensuplarının ihtiyaçlarını ne derecede karşıladığını ve üniversitelerin bu alandaki hedeflerine ne ölçüde ulaştıklarını tespit etmek ve değerlendirmek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya Ankara’da bulunan beş üniversitedeki öğretim elemanları, idari personel ve öğrenciler dahil edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada veriler anket yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Veriler W.James Weese’nin Hedef Toplum Tatmin Ölçeği ile değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde Tek Yönlü Varyans analizi ve Post-Hoc testlerinden Tukey HSD yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Seçilen üniversitelerdeki öğrencilerin ve diğer grupların tatmin düzeyleri arasında istatistiki olarak belirgin bir farklılık çıkmamasına rağmen üniversitelerin öğretim elemanlarının tatmin düzeyleri diğer gruplara göre daha yüksek çıkmıştır. Aktivitelere katılım düzeyi ve haberdar olup olmamanın da katılımcıların tatmin düzeylerinde etken olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak çalışmaya katılan üniversitelerden dördünün bünyelerinde bulundurdukları insanların sosyal ve fiziksel anlamdaki aktivite ihtiyaçlarını karşılamakta başarısız sayılabilecekleri bir performans sergiledikleri tespit edilmiştir.

THE EVALUATION OF CAMPUS RECREATION PROGRAMS OF THE UNİVERSITIES IN ANKARA BY THEIR OWN STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF

The purpose of the study was to estimate and evaluate the effectiveness of campus recreation programs organized and held in üniversities; in satisfying the needs of their students, faculty and staff and in what degree the programs are reaching their goals. The students, faculty and staff of the five universities stated in Ankara composed the research group of this study. The data was gathered by questionaire method. Target Population Satisfaction Index was used as an instrument. ANOVA and Post-Hoc tests (Tukey HSD) was used in statistical analyze of the data. No significant difference found in the satisfaction levels of students, faculty and staff, but faculty showed the highest satisfaction level according to other groups. Also it was seen that awareness level and participation levels were effective variables in the satisfaction levels of research group. As a result, this study pointed out that universities participated in this study, except one of them, were almost unsatisfactory in responding the recreational needs of their students, faculty and staf
