Bu çalışma modern dönemde her toplum tipinde artışı gözlenen yıkıcılık eğilimlerini varoluşçu bir perspektiften anlamayı hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda sosyal bilimler alanında yıkıcılık temelli sosyal problemler için üretilen çözüm önerilerine de bir katkı sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu çerçevede Erich Frommun kavramları olan ve modern insanın eylemlerinde özellikle (orta ve üst sınıfta) sıkça rastlanan yıkıcılığı açıklayan nekrofili, bunun topluluk düzeyindeki görünümü olan topluluk narsisizmini anlatılmıştır. Nekrofili ve topluluk narsisizminin temellerinde yer alan ve modern insanın bilincinde yüzeye çıkan ölüm korkusu ve düşük benlik saygısının önemine değinilmiştir. Varoluşla ilişkilendirilen ve modern insanın karakterinde ortaya çıkan düşük benlik algısı ve ölüm korkusunun neden olduğu yıkıcılık eğilimlerine bağlı sosyal sorunlara değinilmiştir. Söz konusu sorunların çözümünde varoluşun göz önünde tutulmasının önemli olduğu vurgulanmıştır.

In this study, the observed increase in existential destruction trends in each type of society in the modern era aims to understand from one perspective. In this context, the destruction-based solutions to social problems generated in the social sciences also aims to provide a contribution. Erich Fromm's concepts, especially in the modern human's actions in this respect (in the middle and upper classes) frequently encountered destruction explaining necrophilia, narcissism is described in view of the community that the community level. Necrophilia and the death narcissism community located on the surface of consciousness and fear of modern man and has been mentioned in the foundation of the importance of lowself-esteem. And low self-esteem associated with the existence of modern man appeared in the character and addressed the fear of death is connected to the social problems that cause destructive tendencies. It was emphasized that it is important to bear in mind the existence in the solution of these problems.
