Bu araştırmanın amacı Üniversitedeki Alkol Problemleri Ölçeğini (ÜAPÖ; Maddock, Laforge, Rossi & OHare, 2001) Türkçeye uyarlamaktır. Araştırma 304 üniversite öğrencisi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizinde iki alt boyutlu (sosyal problemler ve bireysel problemler) modelin iyi uyum verdiği görülmüştür (x²= 63.27, sd= 18, RMSEA= .091, NFI= .96, RMR= .018, SRMR= .053, CFI= .97, IFI= .97, RFI= .94, GFI= .95). Ölçeğin madde toplam korelasyon katsayıları .28 ile .87 arasında sıralanmaktadır. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık güvenirlik katsayıları sosyal problemler alt ölçeği için .74, bireysel problemler alt ölçeği için .95 ve ölçeğin bütünü için .86 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu sonuçlar Üniversitedeki Alkol Problemleri Ölçeği Türkçe formunun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermektedir.

The aim of this research is to examine the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of The College Alcohol Problems Scale (TCAPS; Maddock, Laforge, Rossi & OHare, 2001). Participants were 304 undergraduate students. Results of confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that this scale yielded two factors (social problems and personal problems), as original form (x²= 63.27, df= 18, RMSEA= .091, NFI= .96, RMR= .018, SRMR= .053, CFI= .97, IFI= .97, RFI= .94, GFI= .95). Corrected item-total correlations ranged .28 to .87. Cronbach alpha internal consistency reliability coefficients of the scale were .74 for social problems subscale, .95 for personal problems subscale, and .86 for overall scale. Thus The College Alcohol Problems Scale can be used as a valid and reliable instrument in education.
