Özet:Beypazarı ilçesi, zengin kültür değerlerine sahip bir yöredir. Gelenek ve göreneklerin yaşatılmasına önem verilen ilçede çeyiz geleneği halen sürdürülmektedir. Geçmişte geleneksel düğünlerde kına hamamında gelinler başlarına tel kırma işlemeli hamam beyazı adı verilen tülbentleri örtmüşlerdir. İnce, yumuşak, beyaz pamuklu tülbentlik kumaşlar üzerine gümüş rengi yassı tel, özel iğnesine geçirilerek tel kırma tekniği ile işlenen hamam beyazı tülbentlerin kenarları, gümüş rengi metal pullar takılan firkete oyası ile süslenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Beypazarı ilçesinde tel kırma işlemeli tülbentlerin, işleme tekniği, kullanılan kumaş ve tel çeşitleri, renk, desen ve kompozisyon özellikleri incelenmiş, Beypazarı kültüründe yeri ve önemi belirtilmiştir.

Abstract:The town of Beypazarı is a region having a rich value of culture. At the town, where making the traditions and customs live is of great importance, the tradition of trousseau is still carried on. In the past brides used to cover their head with muslins called Hamam Beyazı (Bath White) with embroidery of thread breaking at the Henna Bath Ceremonies at traditional weddings. The borders of the muslin of bath white embroidered with the techniques of thread breaking by passing the silver colored and flattened wire into breaking thread needle on fine, soft, white cotton muslin cloths are embroidered with hairpin laces onto which silver colored metal scales are attached. In this study muslins embroidered with the technique of thread breaking in Beypazarı, the technique of embroidery, types of cloth and wires, features of color, design and composition were examined and the place and importance of them at the culture of Beypazarı were pointed out.
