Lider-Üye Etkileşimine Çok Boyutlu Yaklaşım: Liden ve Maslyn’in Dört Boyutlu Lider-Üye Etkileşim Ölçeğinin Psikometrik Özelliklerine Yönelik Görgül Bir Araştırma

Lider-Üye Etkileşimine Çok Boyutlu Yaklaşım: Liden ve Maslyn’in Dört Boyutlu Lider-Üye Etkileşim Ölçeğinin Psikometrik Özelliklerine Yönelik Görgül Bir Araştırma

In most of the initial studies of leader-member exchange theory the relationship between leader and members is considered unidimensionally. However, as it has been put forward by the recent studies in role theory and social exchange theory, the leader-member exchange is thought to be multidimensional. This notion has been supported by both theoretical and empirical studies. In this study, by analyzing leader-member exchange in a multidimensional framework we investigate psychometric characteristics of leader-member exchange scale developed by Liden and Maslyn including effect, loyalty, contribution, and professional respect dimensions in a medical school in Turkey. We apply confirmatory factor analysis to sample data. The goodness of fit statistics indicates that leader-member exchange model has four dimensions including effect, contribution and professional respect.
