Düşük tenörlü cevherlerin değerlendirilmesinde en uygun yöntemlerden birinin yerin­de liç olduğu bilinmektedir. Tenördeki azalmaya karşılık tonajdaki artış ve bunun bir so­nucu olarak ortaya çıkan düşük tenörlü büyük rezervler klasik madencilik yöntemleri ile ekonomik olarak değerlendirilememektedir. Bu tür yatakların değerlendirilmesinde top­lam net kâr ve yatırımın geri dönüşü bakımından en uygun yöntemlerden biri yerinde liç uygulaması olmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı, tenör-tonaj ilişkisinin önemini vurgulayarak, teknik ve ekono­mik açıdan yerinde liç uygulamaları konusunda bilgi vermektir

In situ mining is a proven and competitive method of exploiting low grade ores. The increase in tonnage with a decrease in grade and the impossibility of economically min­ing of such low grade resources with conventional mining methods brings out the con­clusion that in situ leaching is a suitable method of maximizing the total net profit and the return on investment.
