Bu çalışmada, önce, tam mekanize uzunayaklarda uygulanan saban ve kesici-yükleyici sistemler karşılaştırılmış ve seçim kriterleri irdelenmiştir. Daha sonra klasik saban ayaklanndaki çalışma zorluklan anlatılmış ve sözkonusu sorunların çaresi olarak son yıllarda gündeme gelen yolkontrollu öteleme sistemi tanıtılmıştır. Bu yöntemin sağladığı avantajlar sıralanmış ve Türkiye gibi tam mekanize sistemlere geçme aşamasında olan ülkeler için önemi vurgulanmıştır.

In this study, firstly, plough and shearer systems utilised in fully-mechanized longwalls are compared to each others and selection criterias are investigated. Then, operational difficulties of conventional plough faces are explained and fixed cut ploughing coming into foreground as the solution in the last years is introduced. Advantages of this method are listed and its importance for countries like Turkey that is in the stage of passing over to fully-mechanized systems is emphasized.
