İstanbul Üniversitesi Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi Bölümü Öğrencilerinde Arşiv Stajı Algısı - Uygulamalı Bir Çalışma -
Öz
Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi Bölümleri (BBY) müfredatlarında yer alan derslerin ku-ramsal bir çerçevede öğretilmeleri ve uygulamalı eğitimle desteklenmeleri önemli bir sorundur. Müfredatın kuram ve uygulama alanlarının birbirlerini tamamla-yacak ve bütüncül bir eğitim gerçekleştirilecek şekilde yürütülmesiyle bu önemli sorunun aşılabileceği açıktır. Türkiye’de Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi Bölümlerinde iş-lenen kütüphanecilik ve dokümantasyon-enformasyon dersleri kadar, arşivcilik dersleri de benzer şekilde uygulamalı eğitim ile desteklenme gereksinimi içeri-sindedir. Türkiye’de arşivcilik eğitimine ilişkin uygulamalı eğitim sorunu, Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi Bölümlerinin öğrencilerinin lisans eğitimleri süresi içinde gerçek-MEHMET FAHRİ FURAT – İSHAK KESKİN2leştirdikleri staj uygulamalarıyla çözülmeye çalışılmaktadır. Bu uygulamaların başarılarının ve eğitime katkılarının değerlendirilebilmesi ve çağın gereklerine göre sektör-üniversite uyumunun sağlanması önemli bir gereksinimdir. Bu ça-lışmada, İstanbul Üniversitesi Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi Bölümü müfredat progra-mında yer alan iki ayrı staj uygulamasından biri olan ve arşivcilik hizmet alanı uygulamalarını kapsamı içine alan “Staj Değerlendirmesi II” dersinin arşivcilik uygulaması yönü ve söz konusu stajı yapan örgün ve ikinci öğretim öğrencileri-nin arşiv staj uygulamaları hakkındaki görüşleri uygulanan anketin sonuçlarına dayanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.Anahtar Sözcükler: Arşivcilik, staj, arşivcilik stajı, arşivcilik hizmet alanı, arşiv-cilik eğitimi.AbstractTeaching the courses which take part in the curriculum of Information and Doc-ument Management Departments within a corporate frame and supporting them with an applied training, is an important issue. It is obvious that this important issue can be resolved by having the curriculum’s theory and application fields to complete each other and to actualize an integrated education. As well as the li-brary science and documentation- informatics courses which are taught in In-formation and Document Management Departments in Turkey, archival science courses have the need of being supported with an applied training in similar way. The problem of applied training related with the archival science in Turkey, is tried to be solved with the internship practice which is actualized by the stu-dents of Information and Document Management Department within their un-dergraduate education. To measure the success of the internship practices is an important need in terms of evaluating the successes of these works and their contributions to the education and achieving the adaptation of sector-university according to the requirements of the era. In this study, “Internship Evaluation II” course which includes the practices of archival science service area and one of the two separate internship applications within the curriculum program of the Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Information and Document Management Department, is evaluated in terms of the archival science application aspect and the results of the survey which are made by the formal and evening education students who have completed their internships related with their opinions on the internship practices.Keywords: Archival science, internship, archival internship, archival services, archival education.
