KONAKLAMA İŞLETMELERİ ÇALIŞANLARININ ALGILADIKLARI MOBBİNGİN İŞ TATMİNİ VE İŞTEN AYRILMA NİYETİNE ETKİSİ

Bu çalışmanın amacı otel işletmeleri örnekleminde mobbing, iş tatmini ve işten ayrılma niyeti arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Ankara ilinde bulunan dört ve beş yıldızlı otellerde gerçekleştirilen çalışma sonucunda 253 anket elde edilebilmiştir. Verilerin geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik analizleri yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemler, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, çalışanların mobbing algısı ve işten ayrılma niyetleri daha düşük, iş doyumu düzeyleri daha yüksektir. Mobbing ile iş tatmini arasında ters ve işten ayrılma niyeti arasında doğrusal yönde bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. İş tatmini ile işten ayrılma niyeti arasında da ters yönlü bir ilişki vardır. Mobbing, işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde olumlu yönde bir etkiye sahip olmasına karşılık iş tatmini üzerinde olumsuz bir etkisi bulunmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, çalışanların mobbing algısı, düşük seviyede olmakla birlikte özel yaşama yönelik yıldırma, görevin yapılmasına yönelik yıldırma ve kişisel gelişimi engellemeye yönelik yıldırma faktörlerinden daha fazla etkilenmektedir

THE EFFECT OF PERCEPTIONS OF MOBBING OF EMPLOYEE IN HOSPITALITY BUSINESSES ON JOB SATISFACTION AND INTENTION TO LEAVE

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship among to mobbing, job satisfaction, and intention to quit in hotel’s employee sampling. Survey was used for the collection of data. As a result of the work performed, 253 questionnaires were obtained at four and five star hotels that located in Ankara. The reliability and validity of the data were analyzed. Descriptive statistical methods, correlation analysis and regression analysis were utilized to the data analysis. According to the results of the study, employees' perception of mobbing and intention leave the job levels were lower and job satisfaction levels were higher. There was an inverse relationship between mobbing and job satisfaction, and there was a linear relationship between mobbing and intention leave the job. The findings also demonstrate that there was an inverse relationship between job satisfaction and intention leave the job. Although mobbing had a positive impact on intention leave the job, it had a negative impact on job satisfaction. According to results, employee perception of mobbing was low level, but they were much more affected by factors that were consist of intimidation for private life, intimidation for making tasks and intimidation aimed to preventing at personal development
