Otel İşletmelerinde İşyerinde Dışlama ve Sosyal Zeka İlişkisi

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Sosyal Etki Kuramından hareketle işyerinde dışlama ile sosyal zeka arasındaki ilişkiyi otel işletmelerinde araştırmaktır. Araştırma verileri Belek/Antalya'da faaliyet gösteren 4 tane beş yıldızlı otelden toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, iş yerinde dışlama davranışı ile sosyal zeka arasında anlamlı ve negatif yönlü bir ilişkinin olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu sonuca göre yüksek sosyal zeka seviyesine sahip işgörenlerin daha düşük dışlama davranışına maruz kaldığı söylenebilir. Bu çalışmanın en önemli sınırlılığı, araştırmanın sadece 4 farklı beş yıldızlı otelde yapılması nedeniyle, çalışmanın sonuçlarının otel işletmelerine yönelik genellenememesidir

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WORKPLACE OSTRACISM AND SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE IN HOTEL INDUSTRIES

Based on Social Impact Theory, this study aims to investigate the relationship between workplace ostracism and social intelligence in the hotel industry. The data for this study was collected from 4 five star hotels located in Belek/Antalya. The results of the study show that, there is a significant and negative relationship between workplace ostracism and social intelligence. According to these resulst, it can be said that employees who have high level of social intelligence, exposed to lover level workplace ostracism. The most important limitation of this study is that the results of the study cannot be generalized in the hotel industry, as the survey was administered in only 4 five star hotels
