Milliyetçilikler ve Milletin Oluşumu Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Öz Günümüzde milliyetçilik çok yoğun bir şekilde tartışılmaktadır. Bir kısım, milliyetçiliklerin aşıldığını iddia etmektedir. Öteki bir kısım ise milliyetçiliğin hala gücünü koruduğunu ileri sürmektedir. Milliyetçilik üzerine bu kadar çok çalışılmasının nedeni onun farklı kavranmasıdır. Milliyetçilik çok yönlü ve karmaşık bir olgudur. Bu çok yönlülük farklı değerlendirmelere sebep olmuştur. Milliyetçiliklerin farklı kavranması, farklı millet anlayışlarınında şekillenmesini beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu farklı anlayışlar günü- müz dünyasında belirgin bir şekilde gözlemlenen zıtlık ve çatışmalarında kaynağıdır. Bu çatışma ve zıtlıklar milliyetçiliğin hala gücünü koruduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
