YALNIZLIK OLGUSU VE SANAL SOHBETİN YALNIZLIĞIN PAYLAŞIMINA ETKİSİ: ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİ ÜZERİNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Öz Internet’te çok fazla zaman geçirilmesinin insanları yalnızlığa sürüklediği, bireyleri ait olduğu sosyal çevreden koparttığı, akrabalık ve arkadaşlık ilişkilerini zayıflattığı, gerçek yaşamda kendini ifade edemeyen bireylerin sanalda daha rahat hareket ettiği gibi konular sürekli tartışılmaktadır. Bu tartışmalara katkıda bulunmak amacıyla, Erzurum, Erzincan ve Ankara illerindeki üniversitelerde öğrenim gören 717 ön lisans, lisans ve lisansüstü öğrenci üzerinde yapılan bir araştırmada sanal sohbetin yalnızlık ile ilişkisi araştırılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar analiz edilip yorumlanmıştır. İlaveten, sanal sohbet ortamlarına katılım, sanal sohbet ortamlarını kullanmayı etkileyen etkenler, sanal sohbet ortamlarının olumlu ve olumsuz etkileri ve bu ortamda kurulan arkadaşlıkları ele alınmıştır. Literatürde hem internet kullanımının bireyleri yalnızlığa sevk ettiği hem de yalnız hissetmenin Internet’e yönelttiği şeklindeki sonuçların kendilerini de destekler nitelikte sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.
