Öz Özet: Bu çalışmada 1970-1999 yıllarını içine alan 29 yıllık bir dönemitibarıyla Türk imalat sanayiinde üretim esneklikleri, ölçeğe göre getiriler.teknolojik değişme hızları ve ikame esneklikleri tahmin edilmiştir. Türkimalat sanayiinde üretim ilişkilerinin ne yönde geliştiğini ortaya koymak içinyeni CES üretim fonksiyonu kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler Türk İmalatSanayiinde ölçeğe göre artan getiri şartlarının hakim olduğunu ve girdiartışları ile açıklanamayan üretim artışlarının teknolojik değişme ile değilölçek ekonomileri ile açıklanabileceğini göstermiştir. Abstract: İn this paper production elasticities, returns to scale, speedof technological development, and elasticities of substitution in Turkishmanufacturing industry during the 29-year period of time from 1970 to 1999were estimated. New CES production function was used to determine thedirection of production relationships in this industry. The results have shownthat in Turkish manufacturing industry there exists increasing returns to scaleand increase of production which cannot be explained by increase of inputscan be explained by returns to scale, not by technological change.
