KAYIT DIŞI EKONOMİNİN KURUMSAL NEDENLERİNİN ANALİZİ

Kayıt dışı ekonominin nedenlerine ilişkin literatürdeki ilk çalışmalar özellikle vergi yükü ve cezalarının kayıt dışı kalma kararına etkisine odaklansa da, son yıllarda kurumsal faktörlerin etkilerine ilişkin çalışmalar da önem kazanmıştır. Çalışmada, orta ve üst gelirli ülkeler grubu için 1999-2007 yılları arasında kayıt dışı ekonomiye etki eden kurumsal faktörler panel veri analizi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre iş özgürlüğünün ve hükümetin etkinliğinin artması kayıt dışı ekonomiyi azaltmaktadır.
