İç Anadolu Bölgesinde yetişen Pimpinella L. türlerinin ele alındığı bu çalışmanın ilk kısmında bölgeden toplanan bitkilerin morfolojik incelemesi yapılmış, literatürde verilenlere ek olarak tanımada yardımcı olan karakterler de saptanarak geniş deskripsiyonları yapılmıştır. Taksonların özellikleri orijinal çizimler ile de sergilenmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci kısmında bölgeden toplanan, P. anisetum, P. cappadocica, P. corymbosa, P. olivieroides, P. tragium subsp. pseudotragium, subsp. polyclada, subsp. lithophila'nın meyvalarından subuharı distilasyonu ile elde edilen uçucu yağların miktarı, bu yağların kırılma indeksleri ve yoğunlukları saptanmıştır. Donma noktası tayini metoduyla anetol yüzdeleri kontrol edilmiştir. Bulunan değerler bir tablo halinde toplanarak literatür verileri ile karalaştırılmıştır (Tablo 2)

İn this research the Pimpinella L. species grown in Inner Anatolia Region were studied. In the first part of this study the taxa were examined from the morphological point of view. In addition to the charac­teristics found in the literature, some new ones which were of help in determination of these plants has been established. Enlarged descriptions of the taxa has also been shown in figures. In the second part of this study, the amount of the volatile oils of the fruits of the species, obtained by steam distillation were determined. Refraction indexes and densities of the volatile oils were determined as well. The anethole content of the volatile oils were controlled by Congealing Point method. The results obtained by the above determinations and the data found in the literature are given in Table 2.
