Türkiye’de Malvarlığına Karşı İşlenen Suçların Mekansal Bağımlılığı

Öz Suç, insanlık tarihi boyunca her zaman var olmuş ve toplumsal düzeni olumsuz yönde etkilemiştir. Bu nedenle suça yol açan faktörler, suç bilimcilerce araştırılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise, suçun ekonomik boyutu araştırılmaktadır. İşsizlik, ücret, enflasyon, kişi başına gayri safi yurtiçi hasıla ve gelir dağılımındaki adaletsizlik gibi birçok makroekonomik değişkenin çoğunlukla ekonomik nedenlerle işlenen malvarlığına karşı işlenen suçlara etkisi bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin ikinci düzey istatistiki bölge birimleri (İBBS2) sınıflandırma şekli temel alınarak, işsizlik ile malvarlığına karşı işlenen suçlar arasındaki ilişkinin mekansal bağımlılığının, 2008-2014 dönemine ait yıllık veriler kullanılarak, mekansal panel veri analiziyle, belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Analizde Hausman testi sonuçları, sabit etkili mekansal panel modelinin çalışma için en uygun model olduğunu gösterirken, olabilirlik oran testi sonuçları da, mekânsal otoregresif (mekansal gecikmeli) modelin çalışma için en uygun model olduğunu göstermiştir. Mekansal otoregresif model ile ulaşılan ampirik bulgular, sınır komşuları olan bölgeler arasında pozitif yönlü mekansal bağımlılığın olduğunu, sınır komşuluğunun malvarlığına karşı işlenen suç türlerini arttırdığı, ayrıca malvarlığına karşı işlenen suçlar üzerinde işsizliğin pozitif yönlü etkisi olduğunu göstermiştir.
