Ekonomik Özgürlüklerin İktisadi Büyüme Üzerindeki Etkileri: Bir Panel Veri Analizi

Öz Son otuz yıldan bu yana yaşanan en önemli gelişmelerdenbiri, hızlanan küreselleşme hareketleri kapsamındaliberal iktisadi düşünce ve politikaların dünyagenelinde yayılması olmuştur. Özellikle neoliberalhareketler ile birlikte iktisadi bakımdan kapsamı genişletilenözgürlükçü akımlar, toplumsal yapılanmatarafından vazgeçilmez bir unsur olmuş ve ekonomikserbesti, refah gücünün artırılabilmesi amacıyla makroiktisadi gelişmelerin ana eksenini oluşturmuştur. Dolayısıylabu çalışmada, ekonomik özgürlükler ile ekonomikbüyüme arasındaki ilişkiler 1995 – 2012 dönemindegelişmiş, gelişmekte olan ve azgelişmiş ekonomileriçin panel veri analizleri kullanılarak araştırılmıştır.Pedroni ve Kao eşbütünleşme analiz sonuçları, ekonomiközgürlükler ile iktisadi büyüme arasında uzun dönemliilişkilerin varlığını göstermiştir. Ayrıca, Grangernedensellik analiz bulguları ise ekonomik özgürlüklerin,iktisadi büyümenin nedeni olduğunu yansıtmıştır.Analiz sonuçları bir bütün olarak değerlendirildiğindeekonomik özgürlüklerin iktisadi büyüme sürecini hızlandırdığınısöylemek mümkündür.
