ÜST GASTROİNTESTİNAL SİSTEM ENDOSKOPİSİ İŞLEMİNDE DİNLETİLEN MÜZİĞİN HASTALARIN BAZI DEĞERLERİNE, MEMNUNİYETİNE VE İŞLEMİN BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ

Öz Bu çalışma, endoskopi işleminde dinletilen müziğin hastaların bazı değerlerine, memnuniyetine ve işlemin başarısına olan etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Şubat 2005–Nisan 2005 tarihleri arasında Endoskopi Ünitesine başvuran 100 deney, 100 kontrol olmak üzere toplam 200 hasta örnekleme alınmıştır. Veriler, sosyo–demografik değişkenler ve işlemle ilgili sorulara yönelik anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde Ki–kare, iki ortalama arasındaki farkın önemlilik testii kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, işlem öncesi ve sırasında deney grubundaki hastalara dinletilen müziğin nabız, kan basıncı ve oksijen saturasyonuna etki etmediği saptanmıştır (p > 0.05). Ancak, deney grubundaki hastalarda; müziğin, hasta memnuniyetini içeren tüm parametrelere istatistiksel olarak oldukça anlamlı bir etki ettiği saptanmıştır (p < 0.05)
