A Study on Capabilities Dimensions of the Fourth Party Logistıcs Service Providers

Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) providers are implementing new solutions and methods in logistics. 4PL is an integrator that combines its own resources, capabilities and technology and resources of other service providers to design and manage complex supply chains. Therefore, 4PL service providers don't have any physical assets such as trucks or warehouses. Instead, they provide a comprehensive solution to the demand of their customers by mobilizing the resources of different partners and maintaining full control over the flow of information. Purpose of the study is to explore the perspective of the capabilities dimension of the 4PL service providers. For this purpose; an in-depth interviews were conducted within the scope of this paper.
