FEN EĞİTİMİNDE YAPILANDIRMACI YAKLAŞIMA DAYALI BİLGİSAYAR DESTEKLİ ÖĞRETİMİN AKADEMİK BAŞARI VE KALICILIĞA ETKİSİ

Öz In this study, it has been aimed to increase the academic successes of the students of primary education in science and technology, permanence in learning and to put forth  the effectiveness of the computer supported learning which is based on constructivist approach according to the teacher centered methods (plain explanation, question, answer and display) This study was carried out on total 58 students of Ankara Yasemin Karakaya İlköğretim Okulu seventh grade students during the first semester of 2004- 2005 education year and 29 of these students were in control group and 29 of them were in sample group. In this research pre test-post test design with control group has been used. The research has been continued for 6.5 months together with the application time of pre test, post test and permanent test in each group. As a result of the analysis of the gained data by t-test, it has seen that Computer Based Learning Based upon Constructivist Approach in Science Education was much more effective than the teacher centered methods in increasing the academic success and permanence in learning. The equipments and programs suitable for lesson’s characteristic have to be developed and teachers have to be educated with a model which contains the components as basic technology usage and coalesce of technology and the lesson program.
