PROBLEM ÇÖZÜMÜNE KAVRAMSAL / İŞLEMSEL YAKLAŞIM ÖLÇEĞİNİN GELİŞTİRİLMESİ

Bireyin problem çözme sürecini etkileyen birçok değişkenden biri çözüm sürecinde kullandığı matematiksel bilgi türüdür. Özgün bir matematik problemine çözümler üretebilmek ve neyi ne zaman yapacağına karar verebilmek için işlem bilgisinin yanı sıra matematiksel kavramlara ve aralarındaki ilişkilere hakim olmak gerekir. Yapılan çalışma bireyin problem çözümünde kavramsal bilgi ve işlemsel bilgi kullanımına yönelik yaklaşımlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Belirlenen amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle problem çözümü sırasında kavramsal ve işlemsel bilgi kullanımına ilişkin alan yazın taranmış ve ölçek maddesi olabilecek ifadeler belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra bu ifadeler alan uzmanlarına sunulmuş ve gerekli düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen taslak ölçek formu dört farklı üniversitenin matematik ile ilişkili bölümlerinde öğrenim gören üniversite öğrencilerine uygulanmıştır. Uygulamaların ardından gerekli istatistiksel analizler yapılarak taslağa son hali verilmiştir. Elde edilen ölçek üç faktörlü ve 14 maddeli bir ölçektir. Geliştirlen ölçeğin güvenirliği için hesaplanan cronbach alpha değeri 0.806; McDonald's Omega değeri 0.796 bulunmuştur. Bu da ölçeği güvenirliğinin uygun düzeyde olduğunu göstermektedir.
